Marc Kopelman – Financial Advisor
I am a native Floridian (born and raised in Miami). I am a graduate of University of Florida’s School of Accounting (1985) and earned my Florida CPA license in 1988 which I keep current and active along with my Series 7 Registered Representative, Series 66 Investment Adviser Representative, Life, Health and V-A insurance licenses and a Wealth Management Specialist certification.
I worked twelve years in public accounting (Kenneth Leventhal & Company, CPAs – acquired by Ernst & Young in 1995) with a deep real estate and homebuilding industry focus then went on to work in the industry (13 years) as an investor and partner where I raised and managed private investor and institutional funds for real estate acquisitions and development for several Broward County firms (Brenner Real Estate Group and Stiles Corporation). My roles ranged from finding opportunities (throughout Florida) to getting them capitalized and developing the asset management strategy.I also worked with auditors and tax accounts in reporting and interfacing with our investors on fund performance.
Thus, my professional background is quite varied, and the combination of those experiences and deep native network enables me to bring a broad, solutions-based approach to my clients as a financial advisor and counselor.
